I’m uncertain when it started, but I know my dad loved telling stories about his life and that of other family he was learning about for our genealogy.
After he turned 70, he started recording his stories, because he wanted his grandchildren and great-grandchildren to have these memories. I have quite a few stories in tape recordings and writings of his to share. This was his all-time favorite story…the one where he met the girl of his dreams.
